Gary Gillet, Founder of Trek Ready Himalayas, is leading the Himalayan Challenge, a purpose‑driven initiative supporting people living with Parkinson’s and delivering health education to remote Himalayan villages.

In April 2027 we will take 50 Aussies to the Himalayas to help raise awareness and funds for Shake It Up Australia. In the months leading up to April, they will have been training in their respective communities, doing local media, telling stories and sharing their experiences about what they are doing and why.
